Originally designed by notable Arts and Crafts architect A. H. Mackmurdo, 12 Hans Road is an 8-floor, Grade II* listed building in central Knightsbridge. Working with Jonathan Tuckey Architects, we sensitively refurbished the property to create a boutique business centre with eleven office suites.
Inspired by the turn-of-the-century style, we meticulously restored original features, including the wood panelling, fireplaces, and cornices. The design used sympathetic colours, art and furnishings to build on the period style.
We modernised the buildings services making it all-electric, with VRF heating and cooling, an air source heat pump for hot water and LED lighting. These improvements raised the EPC rating from F to B. The facilities include an AV-enabled boardroom, meeting rooms, focus booths, kitchenettes, and high-spec cycle, locker and changing facilities.
