Hamilton House is an impressive Grade II listed Victorian property in a prime position on the Embankment, overlooking the Thames. While celebrating the original architecture, materials and details, we thoroughly restored the property, transforming it into a 21st-century business centre with sustainable and flexible plug-and-play offices for small to medium sized companies.
The ornate façade and classical proportions give this eight-level building palatial status. Retained interior features include generous floor-to-ceiling heights, original terrazzo and timber flooring. Our refurbishment programme for the office floors included creating tech-enabled meeting rooms, breakout spaces, kitchens and focus booths. With occupier wellbeing and biodiversity in mind, we built a large communal terrace on the third floor, offering views of the river and the adjacent Inner Temple garden. In addition to our core sustainability policy of retaining and recycling existing elements, we installed efficient heating and cooling, committed to 100% renewable energy and fitted double glazing where possible.
